The album plays like a one-note advertisement for the "Hannah Montana" plot: Don't judge a Disney Princess by her crown -- it's her inner jewels that shine the brightest. Yes, it's one of the Magic Kingdom's tried-and-true tropes, but frankly, it's refreshing to hear a young, female pop artist sing about all the things (however cliché) she might capable of: "I can fix the flat on your car/I might even be a rockstar," sings Miley, in a voice that's sweet, pleasant and surprisingly empowered.
