Black Spade

Black Spade is a St. Louis emcee, producer and clothing designer who was a founding member of one of that city's most promising groups of the mid-'00s, Soul Tyde. Like Soul Tyde, Spade thrives on energetic fusions of soul, jazz and hip-hop, which made his solo debut, To Serve With Love, the subject of instant critical attention after its release in March 2008.
