K-Otix

A trio out of Houston (though you'd never know it by listening), K-Otix comprise dual emcees Mic and Damien, backed by Russel (aka the ARE) on production. After releasing their debut EP Spontaneity in '97, they dropped several fresh 12-inches and unleashed the full-length Universal on indie label Bronx Science in 2001. Paying dues since '92, K-Otix's dedication and skills are apparent on every track. The supercharged, neck-breaking beats and high flying rhymes are always on point. Their lyrics stay true to the cause, praising true hip-hop and thrashing wack emcees, with a never-ending arsenal of solid metaphors and advanced wordplay. K-Otix already have the underground on lock; it's just a matter of time before they blow up worldwide.
