Mike Auldridge

Dobro player Mike Auldridge is probably most famous for his tenure in the Washington, D.C., Bluegrass group the Seldom Scene. He is an enormously influential player whose combination of technical prowess and beautifully lyrical playing, along with his ability to play comfortably outside of genre restrictions, has set a very high standard. He is very much in demand as a sideman and has appeared on hundreds of records from artists in the country, folk, and pop worlds. He is often sought out by singer-songwriters for his sensitive support playing. He is also a top-notch pedal steel guitarist.
