Stick-to-the-back-of-your-brain Power Pop from a former member of Heatmiser -- no, not that "Miss Misery" guy, although Mr. Smith does provide a helping hand. There's nothing not to like here: smart chord progressions, tight song structures, dark lyrics cleverly obscured by poppy melodies and excellent musicianship.
