Pelt

Virginia's Pelt have been crafting dark washes of cavernous drone and searing feedback since 1993. Rarely does ambient guitar noise accomplish its goals without seeming trite and removed due to cowardly over-reliance on effects. While Pelt certainly is not free of effects, the group consistently manages to create rich moods, textures, and colors in a way that is organic, inspired, disturbing and vital.
