Uberzone

Q (aka Tim Wiles) mixes up funky Electro breakbeats under the guise of Uberzone. A decidedly positive project that began in Southern California alongside like-minded beat fiends the Crystal Method, Uberzone's vibes improve upon hip-hop sounds using Kraftwerk's mechanical sensibilities and Vangelis' emotive extras. Uberzone often invite a variety of guest vocalists -- from the godfather of rap Afrika Bambaataa to indie stalwart Lida Husik -- into the semi-instrumental mix, laying down a floor-scorching sound that tests the limits of intensity.
