Yesterday meets tomorrow on Dillon's self-titled LP, which mixes her instinctual folk leanings with a pop edge, relatable lyrics, and a periodic bassline made for good speakers. Some tracks are so fresh you can almost hear her composing them with her guitar. The winner is Dillon herself, who sounds so glad to be singing.
