Widely thought to be their best album, this '92 release does contain some of their strongest songs. There is more studio wizardry at work, providing for a cleaner, radio-ready sound. But this suits them, as Bill Janovitz's lyrics were more suited to a wider audience. For some reason, "Taillights Fade" makes most men from the East Coast and Midwest highly emotional.
