Chris Hillman

SoCal boy Hillman may have helped revolutionized country rock, but the pleasures found on this solo album are of a gently relaxing (and reactionary) just-laying-in-my-hammock nature. There's plenty of old-style string-picking and breezy harmonies on a collection of covers where even the track by castigated Dan Fogelberg stands up to those of Dylan, Parsons and Prine.
