With incredible longevity, Clock DVA, one of the first bands to take the Industrial sound to the dancefloor alongside Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire in the early '90s, have maintained a singular aesthetic of severe dance beats in a Spartan mix of electronic instrumentation. Their dark austerity and dead seriousness result in cold, dry tracks of metallic, dystopian rhythms and serrated electronic textures. Clock DVA are alarmingly hypnotic and feel like a form of moral corruption as they pull you deep into their subversive musical machinery.
