Ignoring the idiom "Don't go there," David Cross pushes the envelope on taboo subjects, including abortion, 9/11 and sex with underage kids. Cross's take on his subjects is pointedly irreverent, but despite the rough edges (and the title), it is funny.

While Bush-hating comics are all over TV and radio, Cross - the former Mr. Show star and
Arrested Development bit player - trumps them all for pure laughability with his second
stand-up album. It's Not Funny is fueled by the acuity of detail and Cross' pitch-perfect
delivery, as on the two-minute stretch where he attacks the president's terrorism claims
amid disses of Paris Hilton and electric scissors.
