Godsmack's aptly-titled fourth studio album finds the Boston-based alt metallurgists dredging up the creepy, negative vibes that marked their debut. A welcome development, and although they still sound so much like Alice In Chains that it's uncanny, the riffs slither where they should, the wall of distortion comes in at all the right times and that guy Sully can really scream.
