This mostly live album rocks like a packed Texan saloon on a hot summer night. "Wherever You Are" recalls a time in the not-so-distant past when country radio played catchy pop songs that were barely tinged with twang, while on the intimate acoustic version of "I Would" his voice sounds like he's singing to his girl in the bedroom.
