Kutless' debut introduced them as a band to be reckoned with. Their diligent melodies offer even-keeled percussion (enough to drive but not drown) and a low-key metal edge in the guitars. Vocals are direct and easy, allowing the group's shining attitude of praise to come through in the lyrics. This is clean, bright Christian alternative with hints of rock.
