Lady of Rage

About

Although raised in Virginia, Rage found success in L.A. when she hooked up with Dr. Dre and laced several tracks on The Chronic. With a rugged flow and a fat sack of skills, she held her own while trading verses with Snoop, Daz, Kurupt, and RBX. In 1994 she dropped her first solo single "Afro Puffs," which left many fans fiending for a full-length showcase of her talent. Due to ongoing drama at Death Row, her album was repeatedly pushed back and finally released as Necessary Roughness in 1997. With production from Daz, Easy Mo Bee, and Primo, Rage is proving her staying power and dedication to the game.
