Luigi Nono

About

Luigi Nono (1924-1990) was an Italian composer, married to the daughter of Arnold Schoenberg, who embraced 12-note serialism. His zealous avant-garde performances were driven by a strong socialist ideology, motivating him to eschew traditional art-concert genres and occasionally give performances in factories.
