Luna

Luna are so consistent in sound and song quality that they can be taken for granted -- they make it look easy. This early release didn't set the world on fire the way that it should have, but its songs are uniformly strong, with "California (All the Way)" being one of Dean Wareham's all-time finest. Luna's next album, Penthouse is considered one of the best albums of the 1990s. Bewitched belongs on that list as well.
