Rhapsody

Given the dated production values and the power ballad aura hovering over some songs, Marc Anthony's 1991 debut stands up pretty well to the test of time. Producer Little Louie Vega (salsero Hector Lavoe's nephew!) brought house, salsa and soul into the mix; it fuses best on "Ride on the Rhythm" and "Let Me Love You." Bigwigs like Eddie Palmieri also have small roles.
