Mindless Self Indulgence up the stakes of ultra-hip NYC punk-dance electro mischief on their fourth full-length release. Seemingly intent on making fun of everyone, possibly especially their fans, Johnny Urine, Steve Righ?, Kitty and Lyn-Z desecrate the graves of '80s new wave and industrial hip-hop through 15 bumping blasts of cool-kid post-punk and club groove. They may be snarky, but MSI put songs together with an intelligence that belies their style-over-substance vibe. While "Never Wanted to Dance" is the single, "Lights Out" is the one you'll be playing over and over.
