Rhapsody

Never ones to remain stylistically idle for very long, Monster Magnet travel further from the stoner rock of their beginnings and the psychedelia of their middle albums, deep into the black hole of semi-heavy hard rock with absolutely burnin' guitar solos. To be more precise, they put elements from all their earlier incarnations into the mix here, keeping an ear on melody and accessibility. The result is a set of songs safe enough at first glance, but when things do get weird, they get real weird.
