As N.W.A.'s first effort, this album offers a taste of the fury that would follow with Straight Outta Compton. Slightly less polished than its successor but still a great portrait of early West Coast Hip-Hop action, it features various homies, including the Fila Fresh Crew (with The D.O.C.). The album sports also early versions of "Dopeman" and "Boyz N The Hood."
