OK Go

A hit single with a beat copped from Queen, more hooks than you can shake a treadmill at, and be-mutton-chopped lead singer Damian Kulash's friendly, stuttering vocals. Long before YouTube entered the picture, OK Go was rocking it like your older brother's noogie-dispensing buddy (the one you had a crush on): cute, fun, a little cocky, and so playfully dumb you totally want the band to be your friends. Which is pretty much how they still sound. They may have moved to LA, but like the good Midwestern boys they are, let's hope OK Go's noogie rock continues to stay sweet, never change.

With their staccato guitars and Queen-like bouquets of vocal harmony, OK Go want to be
this year's smart power-pop find, a quartet whose talky, acidic songs locate a middle
