Persephone's Bees

Like a revved up outtake from Stereolab's Emperor Tomato Ketchup, this single, with its lush, jam-packed production, can be danced to, played at dinner parties and listened to on headphones over and over again. Persephonee's Bees have been a mainstay of the San Francisco scene for years and it's about time somebody noticed how totally rad their guitar player is, a rare thing for an indie pop band. "City of Love" was included in the soundtrack to the film Bewitched.
