Phantom Planet

Post-punk/post-grunge smorgasbord from the band that features thespian Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore). He may be the first Hollywood actor to be in a rock 'n' roll group that's actually good (!). Phantom Planet successfully find the spot where punk rock, 1960s psyche pop, and the Strokes meet up.

Before their 2002 tune "California" became the theme song to the Fox show The O.C.,
