This little known best-of album has a few faux pas: patchy levels strip the vocals and stress the instruments, while uneven pacing makes the first half drag. But Plankeye earn extra credit for their ability to rise above the glitches with a straightforward lyrical style and a disarmingly sincere spirituality. They pull out the real strength on "Goodbye."
