Having formed nearly two decades ago, Seattle's Posies are truly unsung heroes of Power Pop. When the Pacific North West was inundated with ripped jeans, flannel, goatees and grunge-overload, Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow were keeping songs sweet and loaded with hot-buttered, heavenly harmonies. And after getting constantly compared to the legendary Big Star, Auer and Stringfellow joined Big Star. Both singers' solo outings have also been quite fruitful. Raise your glasses to the Posies.
