Raffi

Raffi's at his most charming on this 1994 Rounder Records release. He borrows gently from just about every tradition out there, echoing ragtime in the title track, touching Cajun rhythms in "Shake A Toe," and even shouting out to Native Americans with "First Peoples." And then you have tracks like "Cowlit Night," whose country vibe belies a welcome goofiness.
