Rebel Meets Rebel answer the question we find ourselves asking all the time. Namely, what if Lynyrd Skynyrd had been more metal? Okay, maybe nobody's ever asked that question really but these good ol' boys don't care. They just want to take tried-and-true Southern rock moves and apply chuggering metal guitars and Slayer-like screech solos to them. At times, they sound as much like Southern fried crust-metal Eyehategod as they do Charlie Daniels, sometimes within the same song. Oddly compelling, if you forgive "Cowboys Do More."
