The lyrical pianist handpicked the 44 tracks on this career-defining two-disc set. The album opens in the 1980s and slowly works its way back to the '50s and "Autumn Leaves" (the only of Williams' many chart hits to reach No. 1). The newer material is more laid-back and jazzy, while the older tunes often combine swing piano with intricate classical motifs.
