Senses Fail

With their third album, Senses Fail somewhat soften the lyrically gloomy tack the Jersey four-piece has taken in the past. They may be exploring ideas of growing up here but it's with an appreciation of what's in store rather than the apprehension often exhibited by themselves and most of their emo-kid peers. "Wolves At the Door," however, keeps the fires of post hardcore angst alive. As usual, the spot-on aesthetics and Warped Tour-worthy choruses may be what get these guys all sorts of airplay, but the real draw is the twin ribbonings of those guitar leads.
