Splendid feature former Frente! lead singer Angie Hart. You might remember Frente! from their cover of "Bizarre Love Triangle," which just about every hipster in America heard either at a party or on a mix tape back in 1994. Here we find Ms. Hart singing above-average alterna-rock backed by a muscular Indie band. Her little girl voice has grown up some and is put to good use, running through a series of tasty melody changes with trapeze-artist agility. Sounds a bit like the new GBV record, only sober.
