Drive-By Truckers

So the Drive By Truckers cruised on over to the Rolling Stone studios and kicked down three exclusive, live acoustic versions of (arguably) the best songs from their critically acclaimed 2006 album, A Blessing And A Curse. Hearing the watery pedal steel drip weepy notes around the warm acoustic guitars and twangy vocal harmonies is truly an incalculable treat. The brushes-on-snare drum makes for a hushed and haunting mood here. It's as if alt country never died in the late-'90s.
